When we first walked into this condo, it felt cold, stark, and lacking the warmth you'd hope to experience during a beach vacation. Our vision was to transform it into a cozy coastal retreat that feels both elevated and approachable.

With a few strategic updates—including repainting the walls a warm white, installing curtains, and swapping the builder-grade dining light for a vintage woven fixture—we completely shifted the atmosphere of the home.

Since this is a vacation rental, we took a thoughtful high-low approach to the budget. We invested where guests notice it most: supportive mattresses, comfortable sofas, and a quality area rug. To balance costs, we sourced affordable accent furniture and layered in vintage and thrifted finds that add soul and character, from the primary bedroom dresser to the antique paddles above the bed.

The result is a space that feels warm, relaxed, and inviting, with earthy neutrals, natural textures, and coastal touches that create a memorable stay without exceeding the budget.
